General English 2 is the second course in a four-part series of general English courses aimed at developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills for first-year language major students at Tay Nguyen University.

The General English 2 course helps students develop the four English skills through listening to conversations or announcements on familiar topics, describing personal experiences or giving simple descriptions of familiar topics, presenting simple presentations, reading texts that contain clear information on familiar topics, and writing simple, concise essays in English. It introduces and guides students on the necessary language functions to understand different communication styles, thereby enabling them to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English at a higher level.

Additionally, the General English 2 course helps students accumulate vocabulary and English structures and provides them with knowledge about the countries and people of some English-speaking nations.
